Few engineering resins introduced during the past decade have had a greater impact than modified oxide polyphenylene (PPO). Few are as receptive to modifications that enable the material to penetrate an extremely wide range of extrusion and molding applications. Some of the modifications we have made (and continue to make) were not previously available, and we have solved some tricky problems along the way. These technical efforts give real meaning to the phrase “customer service”, but that is just the beginning. Modification is the key that unlocks a world of new applications for these tough and highly machinable engineering materials.
